Mission Statement

Wild Side of the Mountain Sanctuary is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), charitable, wildlife sanctuary committed to providing permanent homes for wolves, large cats and other wildlife in need of a safe haven.
There is a waiting list for captive wild animals in need of safe haven. If permanent homes cannot be found, these magnificent animals will be put to death.

Wide Side of the Mountain Sanctuary will be creating permanent enclosures built to fit the needs of each species of animal. Our mission is not only to meet the basic needs of each animal (ie; housing, food and medical treatment.) It is to also offer comfort and interactive stimulation.

Wild Side of the Mountain Sanctuary offers an education program designed to be presented in schools, libraries and youth groups. The program offers a hands on educational experience for youths of all ages. It is our goal to offer children a better understanding and respect for wildlife, wildlife conservation and habitat preservation.

Value Statement

1.)   To practice compassion, patience and honesty in all our dealings with wildlife, the animals at our sanctuary and the public.

2.)   To provide a safe haven for our sanctuary residents. To place the needs, housing, food, medical care and emotional wellness of each animal before anything else we may do.

3.)  To meet our goal of offering a unique interactive environment to all our animals and our guests.

4.)   To educate the public to the best of our ability.

We have found a perfect property! A property that offers natural beauty and room to build a sanctuary for all of the animals that we will be caring for. Once we secure this property we will have the opportunity to create each interactive enclosure in unique species specific designs. We will combine the needs of each animal with an educational viewing area for our visitors. We are presently raising the funds to purchase this property. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.

Donations can be made with our donation page, or by using pay pal and entering our e-mail address help@wildsanctuary.org

(We are a 501(c)(3) public charity. All donations are tax deductible.)
